Argos Marketing LLC

Born in New Jersey and following a 5-year stint in the Air Force and the completion of his college degree at Southwest Texas University, Roger Bornstein began his forty-year career in marketing with a fledgling company called Six Flags Theme Parks.

Roger started at Six Flags' newest acquisition, Houston's' Astroworld in 1975 and soon worked his way into management. He continued as a key member of new acquisitions in Los Angeles at Six Flags Magic Mountain, South Florida at Six Flags Atlantis and was then assigned to help re-energize attendance at Six Slags Over Texas in Dallas/Ft Worth. After years of creating new programs that set record attendance levels, Roger was assigned to the Park's headquarters in New Jersey where he frequently collaborated with Six Flags' parent company, Time Warner in New York City.

Bornstein's marketing expertise drew him next to Space Center Houston, NASA's $80 million visitor center, which was near bankruptcy due to declining attendance and interest in NASA. Major shifts in marketing philosophy resulted in significant attendance growth trends and today; Space Center Houston is a leading NASA visitor and a world-renowned attraction.

Through his career, Roger has worked with some of the world's largest companies and includes such notables as, Coca Cola, Wal-Mart, Kroger, McDonald's Restaurants, Pepsi Cola, Nickelodeon, Mazda, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines and others. He has been credited with numerous local and national awards and titles for his marketing achievements throughout the years.

Roger's favorite and most far-reaching event was celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the original Star Wars movie release with cinema genius, George Lucas. Roger's event flew the original Star Wars Light Saber up to the International Space Station aboard Space Shuttle Discovery (STS 120) then returned it thru scheduled media events to Lucasfilm Headquarters in San Francisco. The event was covered by media in over 100 countries and resulted in an on-going relationship between NASA and Lucasfilm that continues today.

Bornstein has been active in the Martial Arts for thirty years and is an 8th Dan Black Belt, with a title of 'Guru', in the Bushi Ban system. He continues to be a motivated student and an ardent teacher, working to hone his skills every day.
